The EdgeReach side brush on the R30 reaches corners and skirting boards that no other stick vacuum can touch. Table legs, sofa edges, L-shaped corners: it gets into every nook. The smart dirt detection adjusts power automatically and the CelesTect LED reveals hidden dust. At 190 AW it picks up everything on our hardwood and carpets.

Finally a true 6-in-1 vacuum that delivers

The Dreame R30 genuinely lives up to its 6-in-1 promise. Between the main floor brush, EdgeReach, motorised mini brush, crevice tool and dusting brush, every cleaning scenario is covered. The mini brush removes our golden retriever's hair from the sofa brilliantly. 90 minutes in Eco is plenty for our 120 sqm home.

CelesTect LED reveals what you have been missing

The CelesTect LED on the R30's brush head lights up dust particles you simply cannot see otherwise. It changed how I vacuum entirely because I can actually see the dirt being picked up. Smart detection works well and adjusts power seamlessly. Only drawback is the LED indicators rather than a proper LCD screen.

Anti-tangle comb works brilliantly with long hair

The anti-tangle comb design on the R30 is superb. With two long-haired daughters and a cat, our previous vacuum's brush was a constant nightmare. The R30 just does not tangle. 22,000 Pa handles every surface well. The accessories are comprehensive. Would have liked a flexible tube for under furniture though.

Good all-rounder but misses a flexible tube

The R30 is a capable all-round vacuum. The EdgeReach side brush is genuinely useful for corners and skirting boards. The motorised mini brush tackles pet hair on furniture very well. Smart detection and CelesTect LED are welcome features. However, the lack of a flexible tube makes getting under low furniture difficult, and the LED display is basic.
