At a glance
The A2 1200 ticks some practical boxes: no wire or RTK, LiDAR and camera navigation, 5 cm edge cutting and a garage in the box. For a medium-sized garden, the package hangs together well. The lack of runtime and slope information, and of customer reviews, still calls for some caution before committing.

Dreame A2 1200 : complete overview
No boundary wire, no RTK station The Dreame A2 1200 is designed for lawns of up to 1,200 m² and does without both a boundary wire and an RTK antenna. To find its way, it combines the 360° 3D LiDAR of the OmniSense 2.0 system with an AI-assisted HDR camera. In practice, setup means no trenches for burying cable and no hunt for a clear spot to mount an antenna, two steps that are often a chore.
Automatic boundaries and neat edges Mowing boundaries are set automatically, and the robot relies on dual mapping. For the finish, EdgeMaster uses an extending cutting disc to mow to within 5 cm of the edges, which cuts down on strimming along beds and paths.
A shelter included, some data missing The mower comes with a garage that protects it from rain and sun, an accessory often sold separately. On the other hand, our data does not state the runtime, cutting width or maximum slope, so if your garden is sloping, check this before buying. There are no published reviews yet to go on either.
